A problem: RI is losing ground to out-of-state workers
The Providence Business News states that: "In the decade between the 2000 and 2010 censuses, the share of Rhode Island residents who work out of state has remained fairly constant, dropping from 14.3 percent in 2000 to 14.2 percent in 2010.
"However, the share of Rhode Island jobs held by out-of-state residents climbed nearly 2 percentage points over the same period, from 8.4 percent in 2000 to 10.3 percent in 2010."
