Nearly 27% of students who were chronically absent in 2010-11 were suspended out of school at least once in the prior year.

This bar graph shows the percentage of students at Cooley and PAIS in 2010-2011 who had one or more out-of-school suspensions in the previous year, 2009-2010. Fewer than 15% of students who were chronically absent in 2010-11 had received an out-of-school suspension in 2009-10, compared to nearly 27% of students who were chronically absent. There were too few students in the low absence category to be able to display these data.
