Final installment of the working data story for and with the Providence Children and Youth Cabinet. Our focus high schools are the Providence Academy of International Studies (PAIS) and William B. Cooley, Sr. Health & Science Technology High School (Cooley).

Only 19% of students who were chronically absent in 2010-11 received English Language Learner services in the prior year.

The bar graph indicates the percentage of students in each absence category who received English Language Learner (ELL) services in 2009-2010. 19% of students who were chronically absent in 2010-11 received ELL services the previous year compared to 28% of students who were moderately absent and 22% of students in the lowest absence category.
