K-12 Attendance Rate

Short Definition: % of days students were in attendance

Long Definition:

Percent of days students were present when school was in session during a given reporting period. Calculated by dividing the number of days attended by the number of days enrolled, and multiplying by 100. This indicator includes all students enrolled in any grades Kindergarten through grade 12 in a particular school or district or statewide. Records with values of -1 indicate data suppression to protect student confidentiality.
