School Year | 2003-04, 2004-05, 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08, 2009-10, 2010-11 |
Geographies: School
Data Type: Numeric
Purpose:
This indicator displays adolescents' risky personal behavior, proclivity for violence, or perceived need for protection, which can be indicators for other behavioral and environmental problems.
Limitations:
The last SALT survey was administered in 2007-08. The new SurveyWorks! survey is replacing SALT.
This indicator is recoded for future comparisons because of lack of consistency between the questions in the SALT survey and the new SurveyWorks! questions. It is now ever brought protection to school rather than brought protection 3 or more times. 1/9/2012
Note: Indicator is missing for elementary students for test year 09-10. Question was not asked for students in 4th and 5th grades for that year only.
Universe: Rhode Island public elementary, middle, high school students in participating schools and grades
